The Bournemouth Alliance is made up of Dorset Golf Professionals and also amateurs mainly from the Dorset area. We play 1 meeting per month on different courses in Dorset and Hampshire. These include Remedy Oak, Ferndown, Broadstone, Parkstone, Dudsbury, Knighton Heath, Isle of Purbeck, Canford Magna, Ashley Wood, Meyrick Park, Yeovil, Sherborne in Dorset and also Bramshaw and Barton in Hampshire. These meetings take the form of medal strokeplay competitions, 4BBB and the occasional 4 man team. Numbers vary at all meetings but normally we have between 12-15 professionals and 40-50 amateurs. It is an excellent opportunity to play with a local golf professional in a competitive but friendly event. The Bournemouth and District Professionals and Amateurs Golfer’s Alliance to call it by its full name was founded in 1930 and has amongst its many members, Peter Alliss who is a life member. Should you wish to have further details on how to become a member, please contact the Secretary, Richard White on the contact details shown elsewhere on this page. We wish to thank SiliconDESIGNS for their support to the Bournemouth Alliance in building this website for us. |
